Our work
Jaydot works with over 900 DC residents as a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Resident Services provider. We combine the “housing first” model with supportive services to help people thrive in housing.

PSH case management
We provide case management that helps people find and maintain their housing and meet other needs. Through a contract with the DC Department of Human Services (DHS), Jaydot provides case management to over 275 households in permanent supportive housing. With this support, participants experience greater stability and an improved quality of life that allows them to achieve their goals.
We help people:
- Find and move into housing within DC
- Meet basic needs like food, transportation, and medical care
- Build strategies to maintain their housing
- Liaise, coordinate, and mediate with housing providers
- Access other services, including mental health and substance use treatment
Among PSH providers in DC, Jaydot is unique in the scope and depth of our collaboration with developers creating unit-based PSH. We work with developers from project inception through occupancy, making sure we’re fostering the conditions and community in which residents can thrive.
We know that relationships are at the heart of effective work and our standard practices reflect that priority. We gain familiarity and build trust with residents by being physically present and available at our sites. This foundation of familiarity makes us responsive to emerging needs and effective in our on-site case management. We also have deeply invested in relationships with developers, property managers, and DC agencies. These longstanding relationships allow us to efficiently navigate bureaucracies and competing interests. Jaydot helps create a trustworthy network of support and accountability. Our effectiveness is visible in our work record: we work in more unit-based PSH buildings than any other provider.
Jaydot is the unit-based PSH Provider for Aspire Apartments (Ward 8), Barnaby & 7th Apartments (Ward 8), Edgewood Commons 435 (Ward 5), EucKal (Ward 1), Legacy Temple Courts (Ward 6), One Hawaii (Ward 5), Ontario Place (Ward 1), Riggs Crossing Senior Residences (Ward 4), and The Louise on Western (Ward 3).
Resident services
We coordinate and bolster relationships between residents, property managers, social service providers, and local organizations. Whether hosting a cookout, stocking an on-site food pantry, or helping someone apply for benefits, our ethos is to work alongside residents to ensure their housing feels like home.
Our resident services work includes:
- Collaborating with residents to enroll in benefits and other services
- Providing basic needs items, like food, clothing, and toiletries
- Partnering with residents to create social events that match their interests
- Coordinating with on-site management and partners to solve operational issues
- Building local partnerships to support residents’ integration in their neighborhood
Jaydot currently provides resident services to over 700 DC residents at The Bridge (Ward 8), HELP Walter Reed Veteran Apartments (Ward 4), The John and Jill Ker Conway Residence (Ward 6), Legacy at Temple Courts (Ward 6), The Louise on Western (Ward 3), Rise at Temple Courts (Ward 6), and Solstice (Ward 7).
Housing development
Jaydot consults with developers to address the unique needs of residents who have experienced homelessness. We consult on the entire development and tenancy process, from pre-development to lease-up, including navigating DC government procedures. Our work has made over 1,500 affordable housing units available across DC.
