Who we are

Our work

Jaydot works as a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Resident Services provider. With wraparound on-site services, we encompass residents’ basic needs and create the conditions in which they can thrive.

Core values

How we do our work is as important as what we do. We maintain a human-centered approach and have ongoing collaborative discussions on how to progress.

Our history

Jaydot was founded to fill a gap in housing solutions for people exiting homelessness in DC. Inspired by 20 years of work in homeless services, we focus on providing voluntary, wraparound on-site services at residences.

Our team

Our team is united by core values that we strive to embody in our work. We bring a range of skills and perspectives to working toward our collective mission.

It was January 28, 2023 when I was unfortunately tossed into the world of the unhoused here in DC. Through difficult circumstances, most self-inflicted, I ended up at the Central Union Mission Men's Shelter, where I stayed for 2 1/2 years struggling through the DC housing process till, through another organization, I was guided to Jaydot. [My case manager] made a special trip right down to the mission to meet with me in person and assured me, in no uncertain terms, that you folks would help me. Lo and behold, in a matter of a few weeks I was moving into my brand new senior citizens apartment. I'm actually one of the first residents at this brand new facility. I am truly blessed. I've been given a new lease on life in my waning years and I look to Jaydot, and my special guardian angel [case manager] with gratitude and a heartfelt "thank you" for all you've done. And let me not forget to give a shout out to the best Resident Coordinator in town. Though I struggle daily with a chronic illness, I welcome each day with a smile and a deep heartfelt gratitude to Jaydot and all of their dedicated staff.

We are very grateful to have worked with the Jaydot team on our first project in the District. They bring access to a broad network of housing stakeholders and are consistently on the front lines advocating for housing rights in the District. Their deep knowledge of DC housing requirements, combined with their diligence and collaborative approach to meeting milestones, was instrumental in helping us complete and occupy the project on time.

This amazing program Jaydot saved the lives of my family. In the middle of struggling financially with credit card debt and recovering emotionally after losing my wonderful wife and my journalism work, mistreated by a terrible landowner and holding a low credit score disqualifying me for renting a house, I did not know where to get housing support to protect my four boys. By the grace of Jaydot and the support of my case manager, I finally found a place that I can call home. Today, my children and me are happy to be safely living in the apartment and enjoying the Jaydot program with peace of mind and a lot of hope for the future. Without Jaydot, I should end up on the street with my boys. Thank you Lord Jesus-Christ! May God bless Jaydot!

Jaydot is a miracle within itself. They definitely work with the people and they definitely supply the people what they need. I love Jaydot, god bless them!

Working with Jaydot has strengthened the Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home’s commitment to expanding affordable, service-enriched housing for older adults in the District. During the development of The Louise, Jaydot was an exceptional partner, helping to manage key administrative aspects of the project while navigating the complex regulatory and compliance requirements associated with affordable housing development. As the service provider at The Louise today, Jaydot continues to demonstrate a deep commitment to the Housing First model and to supporting residents with thoughtful, responsive services that help them remain stably housed.

- L. Ward Orem, CEO, Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt-Home

My experience with Jaydot has been nothing but amazing. My caseworker has been everything for me and son. I am so happy with the outcome of how things have been going from helping with me getting an income to just being there for me and him mentally. I’m so happy I chose Jaydot for our housing. I’m very pleased and want to continue to see a brighter future for us.

- Jessica V., PSH Participant (housed in 2025)

Jaydot has been an invaluable partner in our work to end homelessness in DC. Their deep knowledge of the Permanent Supportive Housing process has strengthened our collective efforts, and their commitment to the community extends well beyond the clients they serve. Jaydot brings genuine thought leadership to this work—helping drive systems change, informing our decision-making, and educating partners across the field.
